Arts Etobicoke: Drawing and Painting in Mixed Media

Every Thursday in August 2024, participants in the Arts Etobicoke's Drawing and Painting in Mixed Media course, created a series of artwork in mixed media using watercolour, pen, acrylic and collage. Art Educator, Atiya Hasan, taught them to learn to use individual mediums and combine them with other materials to create textured and layered drawings and paintings. Suitable for all levels, the course guided beginners to build skills and gain confidence in using a variety of media, and enabled more experienced participants the possibilities of further developing their own individual style.
