Arts Etobicoke: Artists with North American and Oceanian Roots – Roots Series

May 16 through June 22, 2024, Arts Etobicoke showcased their North American and Oceanian Roots exhibition at the Cloverdale Common.  This sixth edition of the Roots series displayed artwork from 21 artists from various North American and Oceanian backgrounds; reflecting on their origins and migration experiences, while sharing their perspectives on making Toronto their home.

 ‘Roots’, a year-long exhibition series, celebrated the rich cultural diversity of Toronto.  ‘Roots’ invited us to appreciate the rich complexity of our community and encourages us to engage with different perspectives, cultures, and experiences.
