Immerse yourself in the beauty and complexity of the natural world through the expressive medium of mixed media. This hands-on course invites you to explore the intersection of art and nature, using a variety of materials and techniques to spark creativity and experimentation.

Inspired by the shapes, textures, and patterns found in nature, you’ll learn to use colour, composition, and mark-making to bring your vision to life. Discover new processes with watercolours and inks to build rich, layered backgrounds, and enhance your work with pens, charcoal, gouache, and acrylics to add depth and detail.

Perfect for artists of all levels, this course offers a dynamic and inspiring space to connect with nature and expand your creative practice.

Atiya Hasan is an artist and art educator with a degree in Visual Arts with a major in Drawing and Painting. As an artist, she draws inspiration from the natural environment and creates art in a range of media.  Along with being an artist, Atiya has over 19 years of experience teaching art in different capacities to children and adults.
