Arts Etobicoke – Territories: Sites of Encounter

Arts Etobicoke - Territories: Sites of Encounter

Arts Etobicoke is proud to present Territories: Sites of Encounter, the sixth and final exhibition in the Territories series.

This thought-provoking exhibition explores the powerful relationship between people and the spaces they move through, examining how environments influence identity, culture, and social interaction. Through a dynamic mix of installations, two-dimensional works, film, and mixed media, the exhibition invites visitors to consider how shared spaces shape our experiences and perspectives.

Focusing on everyday settings—from playgrounds and parks to sidewalks and community hubs—Sites of Encounter highlights the moments where connection happens and meaning is created. These spaces, both structured and spontaneous, become stages for play, movement, exchange, and belonging.
Join us to reflect on how the environments we inhabit shape collective narratives as well as our evolving sense of self.

This exhibition takes place from May 7 through June 4, 2026, at the Cloverdale Common, located at the north end of the shopping centre.

Exhibit Dates & Hours:
Wednesday to Saturday | 12 pm to 5 pm
