Arts Etobicoke: Children’s Summer Studio Series – August

Let your child dive into a world of creativity and self-expression with Arts Etobicoke's exciting summer art workshops in August! Perfect for young artists of all skill levels, these hands-on classes offer a fun and supportive environment to explore a variety of art forms—from painting and mix media, to clay sculpting.
Guided by experienced instructors, kids will develop their artistic skills, boost their confidence, and bring home their own amazing creations. It’s a summer filled with imagination, discovery, and endless artistic fun!
SESSION 1: MIX MEDIA ILLUSTRATION
Unleash your child’s imagination in this creative course, where young artists explore the world of illustration through fun, hands-on activities in drawing, sketching, and mixed media, with Artist Facilitator Nazrin Alaskarov.
Date: Tuesday to Thursday – August 12 to 14, 2025
Time: 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm
Cost: $105 +HST (all three classes, supplies and snacks included)
SESSION 2: DISCOVER THE SECRETS OF CLAY
Children can join artist Alexandra Iorgu to explore the wonders of clay, learning to sculpt faces, animals, and imaginary creatures using four unique hand-building techniques.

SESSION 3: ENCHANTED FOREST PAINTING COURSE
In this acrylic painting course, led by artist and art educator Atiya Hasan, children will immerse themselves in the magical world of an Enchanted Forest, using vibrant colours and imaginative techniques to bring glowing trees, mystical creatures, and more, to life.
