RELISH The Foodie Event 2023
Over 12,000 guests, poured into the Centre’s north parking lot on September 16 and 17, where they got to experience 16 food trucks specializing in an array of cuisine—tacos, jerk chicken, gyros, pizza, and so much more. Guests made sure to garnish their food truck eats with complimentary, tasty microgreens from GoodLeaf Farms. Plus, we didn’t dare leave out our four-legged furry friends, they too were catered to with a food truck specializing in dog treats!
Those looking to also shop it up were enthralled with our Tastemaker’s Marketplace where they
checked out yummy wares from our 22 artisanal vendors, like organic honey, kimchi, Jamaican and Vietnamese hot sauces, cannolis, butter tarts, plus guests also browsed the Cheese Boutique Pop-up Shop, and picked up fresh flowers at RELISH The Flower Bar.
At the Little Foodsters “House of Waffles” workshop, presented by Metro, 440 little ones got to build,
decorate, and eat their very own waffle brick house. Plus, 156 lucky folks participated in two interactive
cheese-themed workshops led by Cheese Master Afrim Pristine: The Grate Salad Workshop, an in-depth
tutorial on how to make the famous Cheese Boutique’s delectable Burrata and Peach Salad, and For
The Love of Cheese and Chocolate Workshop,
By the end of the weekend, guests went home from RELISH The Foodie Event with full tummies,
full hands filled with Marketplace goodies, and full hearts from making lots of wonderful memories.
