National Canadian Film Day Screening | Totem: The Return of the G’psgolox Pole
Arts Etobicoke invites you to their National Canadian Film Day Screening, taking place on Wednesday, April 15.
National Canadian Film Day (CanFilmDay) is a massive, coast-to-coast-to-coast salute to Canadian cinema. It gives us a chance to get together and celebrate films made in Canada, by Canadians. Our stories give us strength, and our diversity and creativity are worth showing up for… so Arts Etobicoke is delighted to be hosting everyone at their own screening this year.
They will be screening the film Totem: The Return of the G’psgolox Pole, a documentary that tells the story of the theft of a totem pole from the Haisla people of British Columbia, and the journey of getting it back after finding it 60 years later.
Date: Wednesday, April 15, 2026
Time: 6 pm to 8 pm
Venue: Cloverdale Common
