Fresh Pickin’s

240 guests of the Cloverdale community immersed themselves in an uplifting and experiential art installation under the theme of ‘Air of Surprise’ on August 3 through 6, 2023. Fresh Pickin’s at Cloverdale was where the taste of local met the artistry of balloons.

Each day from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm, the pickin's were plenty at the Cloverdale centre lobby where guests shopped fresh—and local fruits and vegetables piled high on market carts, in partnership with Metro. The event also included a feast for the eyes, a ginormous fruit-themed balloon photo op that encompassed a cherry tree, watermelon slices and vineyard, all made of balloons! Guests were surprised and delighted by
the detailed workmanship of this two-sided balloon installation, making sure to get up close, snap a pic and share it on social media for their chance to win a $250 Cloverdale Shopping Spree! Congratulations, Jody T. of Etobicoke. Fresh Pickin's brought smiles to faces on everyone big and small, exhibiting exactly what the event's mission was: to spark joy!
