Arts Etobicoke: Watercolour Painting Studio Series with Kat

This level two, four-week course from Arts Etobicoke called 'Watercolour Painting Studio Series with Kat', helped participants improve their watercolour painting skills! In this friendly, instructor-led small group setting, every Saturday sessions began with a brief lecture followed by time for practical exercises and experimentation. At the end of the series, they used various tools and techniques to paint original landscapes, florals, still life, and portraits.

Kat is a visual artist, teacher, and author. She holds both a diploma and a Bachelor of Applied Arts degree in fashion from Toronto Metropolitan University, as well as a Master of Arts degree in art history from Concordia University in Montreal. She believes that art should surround us in our daily lives. To this end, she creates drawings, paintings and mixed media art for paper products, textiles, books, magazines, and advertising campaigns in Canada and abroad.
