Arts Etobicoke: Seniors Mosaic Program

Arts Etobicoke, in partnership with Mural Routes, is excited to present the Seniors Mosaic Program.
In this 10-session workshop, partially funded by the Government of Canada’s New Horizons for Seniors Program, participants will work under tutorial by instructor and experienced mosaic mural artist Cristina Delago, to create one of a kind mosaic art pieces. This includes working on a small mosaic keepsake for themselves as well as a mosaic panel to contribute to a large community mural project, which will be installed indoors in the community space.

Date: Every Tuesday and Thursday: February 4 to March 6, 2025
Time: 2 pm to 4:30 pm
Venue: Cloverdale Common, next to ServiceOntario. 

All materials will be provided. No experience needed! Light refreshments will be provided.

Vanessa Parada is an artist who focuses on uplifting, and renewing downgraded material into new everyday items.  Although her focal medium is wood, her background in fine arts and design from OCAD has given her the tools to start her own business called Junkyard Bauhaus and products that are sustainable both for the environment and your pocket.
