Arts Etobicoke: Etobicoke Storytelling Circle

Join Arts Etobicoke's Storytelling Circle, where newcomers and seniors come together to share life stories, connect across cultures, and build community. This warm, inclusive space encourages everyone—from recent arrivals to long-time residents—to tell their tales and listen to the rich experiences of others. Guided by Maria del Carmen Ordonez, participants will learn storytelling techniques, enjoy meaningful conversations, and strengthen intergenerational bonds. Whether you’re here to share, listen, or simply connect, this workshop is a perfect way to build friendships and feel more at home.

Date: Every Thursday, November 21, 28 and December 5, 2024
Time: 2 pm to 4 pm
Venue: Cloverdale Common

Facilitator: Maria del Carmen Ordonez is a Canadian-Ecuadorian Storyteller that tells stories in Spanish and English to different audiences. She has performed in festivals, libraries, schools, and community events.
