Arts Etobicoke: Eco-Design Course with Workman Arts
Join Arts Etobicoke in this eight-session Eco-Design course, a partnership with Workman Arts.
Hosted by multidisciplinary artist Vanessa Parada, participants will work with everyday discarded home-items like egg cartons, corn starch, coffee grounds and other environmentally friendly materials found for free around your home, and transform these materials into everyday items like planters, lamps, shelves, plating, storage, as well as sculptural pieces like abstract forms, masks and relief art; giving a second chance to these materials that would otherwise be part of our wasteland.
Date: Every Wednesday, February 12 to April 2, 2025
Time: 2 pm to 4 pm
Venue: Cloverdale Common, next to ServiceOntario.
All materials will be provided. No experience needed! Light refreshments will be provided.
