Join Arts Etobicoke at their engaging event, Artist Talk, Between Culture and Self: Exploring Gender and Sexual Identity. They will be igniting conversions with artists featured in the sixth and final edition of the Intersections exhibition series, Threads of Tradition and Identity – Intersections Around Gender and Sexual Identity.

This exhibition focuses on the theme of cultural intersections around gender and sexual identity. The artists’ works explore how gender and sexuality influence, challenge, and are shaped by cultural traditions, personal histories, and community narratives. Join us to hear the artists speak about their creative processes, personal narratives, and ways their identities and experiences inform their art practice.

The Intersections: Threads of Tradition and Identity series, aims to understand where different traditions and identities merge to form community connections and bring people together.
