Arts Etobicoke – Territories: Crossings Through Place
Explore the fourth exhibition in the Territories series: Crossings Through Place. Featuring the work of local artists, the exhibition explores the many ways people connect with the world around them by centering on the concept of journey—whether physical, cultural, emotional, or symbolic. These journeys may be part of our everyday routines, like commuting, walking familiar neighbourhood routes, or moving through habitual spaces. They may also represent profound life experiences, including migration, displacement, and the search for belonging.
The exhibition reflects not only on the destinations we reach, but on the ways we travel, the stories and memories we carry, and how repeated movement through places shapes our understanding of them over time.
This exhibition takes place from January 29 through March 5, 2026, at the Cloverdale Common, located at the north end of the shopping centre.
