Arts Etobicoke: Navigation Point – Creativity-Infused Wellness Workshop

Come create with Arts Etobicoke in a two-hour wellness workshop inspired by expressive arts. Facilitated by Donna Johnson, Founder & Facilitator of Navigation Point®, these guided experiences invite participants to quiet the noise, restore clarity, and reduce stress through playful, creative expression and mindful reflection.

Participants are supported to reconnect with themselves, explore new perspectives, and experience the restorative benefits of slowing down.

Common themes include:

• Stress reduction and mental well-being
• Emotional resilience and self-awareness
• Creative problem-solving and intuitive thinking
• Creative exploration and play
• Connection and collaboration (for groups)

Activities are hands-on, exploratory, and adaptable — from guided creative exercises to reflective writing and quiet moments of mindfulness. 

All materials are provided, and each participant leaves with their own creative piece — a tangible memento of their inner wisdom and the power of pause through abstract, rather than realistic, forms. This personal artwork becomes a lasting reflection tool, helping participants revisit the calm and clarity experienced during their session.

About the Facilitator

Donna Johnson, Founder & Facilitator, Navigation Point®. Drawing on her professional background as an Artist, Expressive Arts Facilitator, Human Resources Professional, and Coach, Donna designed Navigation Point as a guided, creativity-infused pause: a safe and celebratory space where self-expression is welcomed, intentional pause is honoured, and participants reconnect with their inner wisdom.
