Arts Etobicoke: Children’s Summer Studio Series – July

Let your child dive into a world of creativity and self-expression with Arts Etobicoke's exciting summer art workshops in July! Perfect for young artists of all skill levels, these hands-on classes offer a fun and supportive environment to explore a variety of art forms—from comic book illustration to paper puppetry.

Guided by experienced instructors, kids will develop their artistic skills, boost their confidence, and bring home their own amazing creations. It’s a summer filled with imagination, discovery, and endless artistic fun!

SESSION 1: COMIC BOOK ART – COMIC STRIP
Children will explore the art of comic strip creation in this fun and informative three-session workshop with Artist Facilitator, Renier Torres Calvo aka: REAT.
Date: Tuesday to Thursday – July 8 to 10, 2025
Time: 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm
Cost: $105 +HST (all three classes, supplies and snacks included)

SESSION 2: PAPER PUPPETS
Bring stories to life in this Paper Puppet course, where artist and puppeteer Catherine Moeller guides young creators through fun, hands-on activities to build new creative skills together.
Date: Tuesday to Thursday – July 15 to 17, 2025
Time: 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm

SESSION 3: STORYTELLING THROUGH ILLUSTRATION
Unlock the world of art with our Illustration Fundamentals course for children! 
Date: Tuesday to Thursday – July 22 to 24, 2025
